Deflashing Plastic is a non aggressive thermoplastic extrusion plastic abrasive for use in applications where the underlying substrate cannot be damaged. Deflashing Plastic is used for cleaning, deburring and deflashing.
Deflashing Plastic is made from two types of plastic, polycarbonate and polymide nylon. Cylindrical and cubed particle shapes are available. A range of sizes permits effective surface treatment to the parts without damage to the substrate surface.
Applications
Deflashing and deburring of moulded thermoset plastic and rubber parts without damage to the final products surface. Ambient and cryogenic deflashing.
Deburring of machined and die cast parts manufactured from soft materials ie, aluminium, zinc, composites etc.
Cleaning unwanted deposits from moulds, dies, tooling and injection screws etc without damage to the part. Fast one step cleaning operation generating no waste.
